What each choice does
- Essential cookies keep you signed in and hold your session with our identity provider. They are set either way and are not affected by anything on this page.
- Analytics, from Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, tells us how the public pages are used. Until you allow it, Google sets no cookie and keeps no identifier between visits. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, so this data is never used to build an advertising profile of you.
- Advertising measurement, from the Meta Pixel, tells us whether our advertising on Meta's platforms is bringing people to Gathered Hands. It runs only on our public pages and the pages where you sign up and set up your account, never inside your account, and only after you allow it. If you allow it, Meta receives the pages you view there, your IP address, and your browser and device type, and may connect that to an account you hold with Meta. California law may treat this as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, which is why this page exists.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising measurement on that browser, without you having to do anything here. The Meta Pixel does not load while the signal is present, even if you accepted the cookie notice before turning it on.
Where your choice is kept
Your choice is stored in this browser only, so it applies here and not on your other devices, and it will be asked again if you clear this site's data. You can also control advertising you see on Meta's platforms in your Meta account's ad settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser's settings.
